£2 FOOD AT CHIPOTLE

What's this another Burrito deal? Sure is! This time it's Chipotle who are offering burritos, tacos, salad, or burrito bowl for only £2 this Monday 31st Octobe. But that's not all, Chipotle will donate all proceeds to local charity FoodCycle. Never has a £2 Burrito looked so attractive!

AFTERNOON TEA ON THE CHEAP....

Afternoon tea in plush hotels can sometimes come with a hefty price tag which is why we're loving the Mandeville Hotel's Le Cordon Bleu Cookery School. Head along to the luxury hotel in Marylebone and on set days you will find afternoon tea for just £15. The catch - the tea is made by students who are currently studying a Patisserie Diploma although it's not much of a catch given the quality of the institution.

Take the rents, take the friends or treat your bird! Just pick up the bill before she sees it and they'll think your uber generous! The student afternoons run just once a month and the next dates are 25th October and 8th November.

FREE TEA AND CAKE.....

Lets be honest here who can refuse free tea and cake? Not us that's for sure! Head along to Soho Square today where you'll find free tea and cake, but not just any tea and cake, Teapigs and Hummingbird Bakery cakes. The event is in honour of the National military charity SSAFA Forces Help which provides support for the Armed Forces and their families.

There will also be a raffle and brass band playing live. All donations will go to the charity. So go on down, have some fun and do good!

FREE SOUP...

It may not be that cold yet but it’s certainly changing, and with reports of snow next week we suggest you start and prepare. What better way to get in the wintery spirit than with some free soup – ease the pain with some pleasure! Visit Brigade the newly opened bar and bistro tomorrow between 11am and 2pm and you’re in for a treat. The apprentice chefs there have got their hands on the finest ingredients from borough Market and invented a new soup receipt. These chefs are from Beyond Food Foundation which give people valuable on the job training who have experienced homelessness. They’ll man the kitchens at Brigade, learning a trade and developing their passion for food.

FREE COCKTAIL CLASSES...

There seems to be lots of booze promos around at the minute and with the current interest surround mixology and London Cocktail Week on the horizon it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. The latest bar to get involved is Skylon located on the Southbank which is well known for its cocktails and views.

This Monday sees the start of the bars Free Cocktail Masterclasses taking place on the first Monday of each month. Tonight focuses on sours and all guests pay is the price of the drink - about a tenner. So if you fancy knowing the difference between a shaken and a stirred, head on down.
